What the judges said:
Intelligent Pensions takes the award for Best Retirement Adviser for the way it has set itself apart in a number of key business areas over the last year.
These included using “impressive” retirement modelling tools, catering to a broad range of clients including less wealthy people, and engaging with the insistent client problem.
Judges also praised Intelligent Pension’s “consistency of approach” driven by technology that is easily understandable for clients and provides genuine insight.
One judge commented on the breadth of services offered, saying: “It’s not just about high-net worths, they want to go down the scale and help close the advice gap.”
Judges also welcomed the firm’s approach to clients who want to go against recommendations. Other advisers have refused to work with people who want to act despite advice not to, but Intelligent Pensions adopts a more collaborative approach.
A judge added they were “very strong all round.”
