Maurice Paterson
Company Chairman

The company Chairman is Maurice Paterson, actuary and former deputy Managing Director of Scottish Amicable, who brings a lifetime of experience in financial services to the business. Maurice was also a director of LAUTRO, the regulator for the life assurance and unit trust industry until 1995.

Stan Comber
Non-Executive Director

Stan Comber, previously Marketing Director for The Royal Bank of Scotland, adds to the company's strength at a senior level in his position as a non executive Director. Prior to joining the bank Stan spent many years in marketing with Prudential Assurance.

Douglas Kearney
Non-Executive Director

Douglas is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has spent most of his career in private equity and investment management with the Scottish Development Agency, Charterhouse Development Capital, Royal Bank Development Capital and Benfield Asset Management. He is currently Corporate Finance Director of a publicly quoted specialist investment and broking firm, Westhouse Securities plc. Douglas has broad experience of acting as an executive or non executive director across many sectors, in both public and private companies, and continues to hold several non executive positions. He brings an expertise in financial control and management, business development and strategic development.
