Simon Pearson

An honours graduate from the University of London and with over 20 years experience in financial services Simon has a wide knowledge of all aspects of financial planning with particular expertise in pension planning for higher value clients. In his last post he was area manager for a major pensions provider and has attained AFPC qualification status including G60 Pensions qualification and specialist qualifications in Investment and Taxation & Trusts.

Gary Forster

Having worked previously with a major accountancy firm in the north of England Gary has a broad range of financial knowledge in all areas. Having gained a distinction in the Pensions G60 examination Gary decided to specialise in this area of financial planning and has been an excellent addition to our consultancy team. He also holds the specialist qualification in Taxation & Trusts.

Paul Armitage

Having worked for Scottish Life since 1986 Paul gained the position of Senior Pension Consultant before joining Intelligent Pensions. Paul brings considerable technical knowledge and years of experience in both occupational and personal pensions. In line with the company's objectives of promoting the highest standards Paul has also attained the AFPC G60 Pensions qualification.

Donald McLellan

Donald has many years experience in Financial Services having been an Investment Manager with Royal Life before taking up the position of Regional Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland for Royal & Sun Alliance. Before joining Intelligent Pensions Donald spent 2 years working with a leading investment consultancy in the West of Scotland.

Tim Semmence

Tim has extensive experience in the pensions sector, having previously worked for Scottish Equitable in Chelmsford, where his responsibilities included developing the Pensions Business from Financial Advisers in the South East region. Tim holds the AFPC G60, K10 and K20 pension qualifications and brings to Intelligent Pensions a wealth of experience and expertise.

Andy Power

Regional IFA Development Manager

Andy has extensive experience in the pensions sector, having worked as a sales development manager for Scottish Equitable for 14 years, as well as for Scottish Amicable and NPI. Andy is responsible for increasing and developing our IFA panel in the South East.
