Tim Semmence
Tim has extensive experience in the pensions sector, having previously worked for Sun Life, Norwich Union and latterly Scottish Equitable in Chelmsford, where his responsibilities included developing the Pensions Business from Financial Advisers in the South East region. Tim holds the AFPC G60, K10 and K20 pension qualifications and joined Intelligent Pensions in 2005.

Stephen Bush
Stephen joined Intelligent Pensions in 2007 bringing with him extensive experience in Financial Services in both the IFA and Provider sectors. Stephen previously had worked for over 20 years as a successful broker account manager, latterly at Senior Key Account level with Scottish Life, working in the City on occupational and personal pensions. He then moved on to giving advice and gaining valuable experience as an IFA in the South East for some years before joining IP.

Simon Pearson
An honours graduate from the University of London and with over 30 years experience in financial services Simon has a wide knowledge of all aspects of financial planning with particular expertise in pension planning for higher value clients. In his last post he was area manager for a major pensions provider and has attained Chartered Financial Planner status. Simon joined IP in 2002.

Paul Armitage
Having worked for Scottish Life since 1986 Paul gained the position of Pensions Branch Manager before joining Intelligent Pensions in 1999. Paul brings considerable technical knowledge and years of experience in both occupational and personal pensions. In line with the company's objectives of promoting the highest standards Paul has also attained the AFPC G60 Pensions qualification.

Paul, who covers the Midlands, joined IP from Alico in 2010. He has more than 20 years previous experience as a pensions consultant with Friends Provident, Scottish Equitable and NPI and also worked for an IFA firm in the role of pension transfer specialist.

Donald McLellan
Donald has many years experience in Financial Services having been an Investment Manager with Royal Life before taking up the position of Regional Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland for Royal & Sun Alliance. Before joining Intelligent Pensions in 2003 Donald spent two years working with a leading investment consultancy in the West of Scotland.

Alex McConaghy
Alex who joined Intelligent Pensions in 2010 has extensive experience of the pensions sector having worked for James Hay for over 6 years in the roles for Implementation Manager and Business Development Manager in Scotland and the North of England. Prior to this Alex worked for Scottish Life and Scottish Widows. Alex’s exam successes include AFPC G60 and JO5.
